Ningbo

Ningbo is an important port city located in eastern China. Of its population of 7.6 million, 3.5 million live within a highly built-up area made of six urban districts.

Ningbo has been prioritising environmental projects that boost economic development, with a major focus on improving the quality of the air and water in its most urbanised areas.

CUSSH is working with Ningbo’s local government to gather evidence, and identify the most effective, and rapid routes to achieving the city’s aims.
