London

London’s population is projected to reach 10 million within the next 20 years. Its goal is to become a zero-carbon city, and to improve the quality of its environment through better green space, and air quality.

London

The Mayor of London’s Environment Strategy has set the target of making more than half of London green, so we have begun by concentrating on green infrastructure.

Our work involves investigating how our natural spaces can support health, social and active communities, and be valued as much as the built environment.

Understanding these areas better will help us to develop green infrastructure strategies that deliver sustained improvements to local health and wellbeing and reduce London’s carbon emissions.
