The capital city of China, Beijing has over 21 million residents, and has faced particularly significant challenges with its air quality.

Over the last 5 years, Beijing has made strides in lowering the concentration of polluting particles in the air that endanger its residents’ health, but there is still wider work to be done towards creating a sustainably healthy urban environment.

In order to take this further, faster, local health and environmental professionals are working with CUSSH to better understand the sources of air pollutants within Beijing and around its neighbouring regions.

Thank you to the team in Beijing
